Michael Chu
-Optometrist-
Michael Chu has practised Optometry in the Cairns area since 1980. Michael studied
Optometry at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, and has developed considerable experience in the Optometric field, a point that is comforting for many of our regular patients.
Michael has been serving the local community for over 30 years and in that time has provided services to outlying and remote areas such as Weipa, Aurukun, Mossman, Cooktown, Gordonvale, Babinda and Yarrabah.
Michael offers personalised and thorough eye examinations. He runs his practice with the utmost care for all his patients, with each patient receiving the "whole package" focusing on eyes, eye health and aftercare.
Leanne
-Practice Manager-
Leanne has many years of experience in the optical industry, beginning her career in 1995. She is now primarily behind the scenes with business administration. However, she can always be seen as the friendly and familiar face that patients have come to know and love.
With such a wealth of knowledge of the industry and her patients, Leanne has a strong dedication to customer service and satisfaction.
Melissa
-Optical Dispenser-
Melissa began her career in optics in 1995. In this time she has successfully completed her Optical Dispensing course and has worked as a qualified Optical Dispenser since 2010.
Having always worked for independent optometrists, Melissa offers more personalised attention. Her knowledge in frame and lens options and her warm and friendly approach meet the needs of each individual.
